All links to blogs are still broken
Could we make fixing this a priority? Most people have stopped posting, because they can't find their blogs. Every single link to every person's blog on the site is broken. It's a straightforward fix, replacing /blogs/ with /blog/ in the code.
It would mean so much for participants.

Links to events only work
Links to events only work if you're signed in. It's supposed to keep the attendance to Fearless City participants and DTES people only. I'd prefer if they changed it, just so that people know how much we're actually doing every week. It's a lot, and I don't anticipate an inundation of Yuppies crashing our workshops.

Upcoming events don't appear in the sidebar (or anywhere) unless I'm logged in; is this deliberate?

My username yoyo, doesn't seem to appear in the members list....I'm new....maybe I'm missing something. It does however appear as a 'search item'.
also avatar will not load? error message 'file does not exist'?

I'm not sure what's causing the first problem, I'm looking into it.
For your avatar, have you checked that the file you are trying to upload is small enough? It should be 50kb file size, 125 x 125 px maximum.
video Upload probelm
the video I uploaded looks odd (doesn't fill the square....I don't know how else to describe this).....and also it doesn't seem to play at all.
It's called 'remembrance', and it's listed under First Nations. Thanks.
Blockquote key not working
The blockquote button appears not to work: you can apply it to a section and in the editor it will look fine, but it does not actually change the appearance of the post. You can see that in this post of mine:

The article itself, everything below "and here it is on Rebecca's blog" should be indented. It seems so in the editor, but it's not indented.

Hi! When I go to the recent entries part of my blog' nothing at all shows up, even though I do have a blog entry.
This happens for other people also - it has been mentioned at the Thursday evening blogging workshop.

emailing new passwords
There's a twenty or so minute delay in mailing out new passwords.

We know this is inconvenient, but it is just the speed of the internet at the time that affects this. Our mail system has to talk to your mail system, then you have to get the email, so it sometimes can take a while depending on the www weather.
Alignment and sidebars
When I did a straightforward blog post of a YouTube using the embed code and looked at my blog, the sidebar was missing and everything was on the extreme left. Also, the HTML included something from the Adblocker software running on this computer. Cause and effect?

youtube alignment problems
Hi,
Scott and I are looking into this problem, we haven't managed to figure out what is happening yet. When the underlying problem is fixed, all of your old videos should be magically fixed, but at the moment all Youtube videos are doing this. I'm not sure why you had adblock code in the html... did you copy and paste directly from youtube's little "embed" code box? But that isn't what is causing the problem.

Logged in/Logged out different versions
Dunno why, but when I'm logged in I can see a number of posts on the front page under Recently Discussed, including my own, and when I'm logged out I can't see them at all. The only thing that shows on the front page that's more recent than August 26th is Nadia's post about Mobile Swarm.
I thought I'd ticked off everything necessary to post it; what am I missing? Stephen Hill is right: there are just TOO MANY options and buttons and levers and dials. We need fewer options if even I cannot figure this out.

Recent blog posts
Hi,
i think your specific problem was due to the fact you selected "Public Realm" in the groups options. This actually puts it in the "Public Realm" cluster, it doesn't make it public. I realize this is really confusing, and we've actually now removed groups options from blog posts and videos. Your more recent blog posts are now showing up when people aren't logged in.
I agree that there are too many input options. We discussed this at the last steering committee meeting, but unfortunately you weren't there. Maybe you can look at the minutes?

Editing Comments bug
Currently, when you edit comments there's no way to select the entire list or entire page of comments, although frequently they're all spam and Select All would really speed up the deletion process.
As well, when you delete comments, it bounces you back to the front page of Approved comments, so you have to click back to get where you were before. Can we get that changed so that it keeps you on the Approval Queue page?

The big red Publish button on the front page goes to an error message:

I think at Codesprint we wanted that to go to Create Blog Post. Can we get that change made?

Hi, here's the error I mentioned
*DONE* MORE on front page *DONE*
On the front page of FearlessCity.ca (not the splash page) there is a list of most recently updated blogs, which automatically updates and is great. Unfortunately, the MORE link at the bottom leads not to a longer list of blogs but rather to those blogs; would it be possible to switch that? People who haven't updated in awhile would still like to verify that they once appeared on the list.

Today it looks like every blog post is being dated December 31, 1969. I can't see anywhere to change the timestamp, either.

As well, long blog posts are automatically being truncated using the ReadMore tag, but I'm noticing on the Wasteland Journals, for instance, that it's coming up before any actual text and the front page contains nothing other than the title and Read More.
You have to make sure that there is no whitespace after the opening <p> tag and if this appears again, an adminstrator should edit the node without the rich text editor and make sure there is no line-break between the first <p> tag and the text. Also after previewing.
